How to handle stressI found this in J17! The supper mag! It's great! Read on. Top Stress busters: 1) Eat well. Eating healthily will make you feel much better. Eat more fruits and cut down on caffeine and chocolate. And never skip a meal too.2) Smell happy. Aromotherapy is relaxing, as some people say. If you do try it.never ever leave the room with the candles lit cos it'll cause more stress later if anything happens. 3) Treat yourself. During revision, try setting aside sometime to do something you really enjoy. Watching your favourite tv programme or phoning a mate or surfing the net. But please try to stop yourself from getting way past the time limit you have earlier set. 4) Getaways. Try going out the the park or something. 5) Get fit. Exercising relaxes tense muscles and get your endorphins (happy brain thingies) zipping, or so they say. Um..if you do feel tense , go for a walk or swim. 6) Share. Invite friends over to your house and have a heart to heart chat about stressful stuff. It'll be a relief to talk over your feelings , knowing that other people feel the same too. It does help but the effect dies of soon. 7) Calm down. Try acupuncture....... heeheheh but without the needles please. Just try to calm down. 8) List the things you need to do. Work throught it methodically working through the stuff you have written and ticking off what you have done. You'll feel better. 9) Breathe easy. 10) Talk it over with someone. Um......some of it works for me.....But well.....i'm a highly stressed person......hehe
